but then I stop and look at a calendar. I remember last spring I blinked my eyes and it was summer.
This year I will blink and I will have a brand new baby boy!
I still CAN'T believe that I am really becoming a mom. Tonight I cleared out all of the random items in Lincoln's room. I put all the baby stuff we have gotten so far in there and I sat down and I folded and separated the little outfits we have gotten for him looking at the sizes.
Newborn: Lincoln will be able to wear this stuff in 16 weeks. I'll be bringing him home from the hospital.
3-6M: Lincoln will be able to start wearing these by the end of the summer time!
6-9M: It will be around Christmas time and Lincoln will be able to wear this stuff.
12M: Lincoln will be about a year old...and wearing these special outfits we bought him when we went on vacations before we were pregnant with him!
It seems like 16 weeks is so far away but I look at these little outfits and I realize that in no time I will have a 1 year old!
Unless of course he's a giant like Kenton... then he will be wearing all of this stuff by the time he is 6 months old lol.... I can't wait to meet him! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Look at all of those adorable outfits! It's so fun to imagine Lincoln in all of them but at different ages. I don't think I've ever seen 2 people more excited about becoming parents! How lucky little Lincoln is to be entering the world with so much love surrounding him. We're so excited and happy for you guys and can't wait until he's here! Love ya! :)

I often want to buy baby things now, but my husband calls me crazy! It's so hard to resist, so I love that you have a collection of outfits from before you were pregnant with him :)
ReplyDeleteI have been collecting onesies for my future baby since I was around 21:-) thank goodness my husband didn't freak out when we went to San Diego after he had been living with me for 6 months and I bought a onesie at seaworld! I am so glad now to have these little pieces of my life before being a mom to share with our kids:-) I'm glad someone else appreciates it!
